We are getting a problem when archiving projects from a DOORS 9.5 database. The archive starts then fails part way through with the "Output file write failure...." error message. There is a previous post dating back to 2012 about a similar problem but they only were seeing it on a single project and were able to narrow it down to a corrupt module. Make sure the target *.dpa is on the same machine as your DOORS client. The archive involves countless tiny packets, and windows file write utilities can get overloaded and out of sequence generating write errors. And, its much faster to archive locally then move the entire file onto the network where you want it. |
